Ingredients & Method


  • 400g of Radishes
  • 235ml/1 Cup of Apple Cider Vinegar or White/Distilled Vinegar
  • 120ml/1/2 Cup of Water
  • 1 Teaspoons Sea Salt
  • 1 Teaspoon Pickling Spices (or your chosen spices)
  • 1/2 Small Lemon, Sliced (Optional)
  • 500ml Jar


  1. In a saucepan, bring your vinegar, salt, spices and water to the boil to make your pickling liquid
  2. Top and tail the radishes and cut into thin slices
  3. Fill up your jar with your radish
  4. If you’re using lemon you can also add in your lemon and any additional spices at this point
  5. Fill your jar with your hot vinegar, including the spices, and leave to cool
  6. Once cooled, tightly lid your jar and place in the fridge or keep in a cool place

Consume within 3 months
